New England Rose Guide

Establishing a New England Database
Core Mission of the Project
Our goal is to create a member-supported database of roses that is continuously updated through the knowledge, experiences, and recommendations of rosarians across New England. We want to hear your voice as a rose grower who has firsthand experience with the challenges and successes of growing roses in our area. Your insights will help other rosarians make informed choices and grow healthier, more beautiful roses.
What the Database Will Include
The database will feature recommended roses from a variety of classes that have demonstrated strong performance in New England. Every rose entry will include its recommended hardiness zone to help gardeners select varieties best suited to their growing conditions. Feel free to add notes to varieties with better disease resistance and hardiness.
About the Survey
The survey is accessible without logging in or using any credentials. You are going to have two weeks to complete the survey. At this initial stage, we are focusing on a selected group of rose classes to establish a strong foundation for the database. We are looking into roses that are widely available on the market. We plan to repeat this survey periodically to capture new experiences, update recommendations, and include new rose varieties as they become available.
Our Long-Term Vision
Our mission is to build a reliable, evolving resource that helps our members successfully grow outstanding roses. By sharing your experience, you will help create a valuable guide for current and future generations of rose growers.
